Default Shopify Filters (Search & discovery)

Shopify storefront filters are enabled by default. This allows filters to be created in the Shopify dashboard (under navigation) based on product settings and metafields.

Boost Product Filters & Search (BPFS)

If the BPFS app is installed, the advanced filtering and search features can be used.

The required markup is included in the theme by default. The app only needs to be installed from the Shopify app store. None of the automatic installation offered by the app is required.

To enable BPFS filters for the collection page, toggle the setting in Theme Settings > Collections > Enable Boost Product Filters & Search
